Daniel Houder

Daniel Houder

Managing Director, Green Markets

Dan joined Green Markets in 2000 and serves as Managing Director. In earlier roles, as CMO he directed the marketing, advertising, and creative efforts for the company’s market research, advisory, media and database product lines. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors and was responsible for new product development, business acquisitions and divestures.

Dan began his passion for market research at MBNA America Bank (now Bank of America) where he served in a variety of analyst, research, marketing, and database development roles. In a following role he was a founder and then CMO for CCC Interactive (now Interactive Response Technologies) an advanced teleservices firm that specialized in market research outsourcing. He received a degree in economics from the University of Delaware.

Market Analyst

Dan started with Green Markets in 1991, and as such has decades of experience covering the North American fertilizer market. In addition to his work with Green Markets, Dan has also held teaching positions at the University of Michigan and at Montana State University, and worked as a reporter for the Sarasota Herald Tribune in Florida. He now works from his home in Bozeman, Montana. Dan holds a B.A. from Calvin College and a M.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Fertilizer Analyst

Maria Antip is a Fertilizer Analyst with Green Markets focusing on the European fertilizer markets.

She has over ten years’ experience in fertilizers and started her career at IFA as a policy analyst. Prior to joining Bloomberg’s Green Markets, Maria worked in Market Analysis for OCI, Fertecon, CRU and IRM.

Maria holds an MSc in International Relations from The Sorbonne and an MA in Economics from St Andrews in Scotland.

Fertilizer Analyst

Bob grew up on my Grandparents 250 cow Dairy farm in Hamilton NY where Colgate University is. From a young age I enjoyed the field work and mowing hay and walking corn fields. Out of High School I attended S.U.N.Y. At Cobleskill NY and majored in Agronomy Soil Science with a BS Degree. I then started working for Agway Inc out of Syracuse NY in their fertilizer division. As a field agronomist I worked with farmers helping them achieve higher yields using their soil test results. From there I took night courses in Business at Syracuse University. Agway promoted me into their fertilizer management program. I spent a lot of years with Arcardian Fertilizer a nitrogen producer calling on dealers on the East Coast, Mid Atlantic States, and part of the south selling truck and rail UAN.I spent time in Kansas as Director of Marketing for White Cloud Grain and did all of their wholesale fertilizer purchasing for 7 retail locations and a river terminal. Started a wholesale fertilizer business for United Suppliers on the East Coast. Director of North America for ICL fertilizer. My wife and I enjoy traveling around the US and spending time with our grandchildren.


Mariana Silva

Pricing Analyst, Green Markets Brasil

Mariana is a specialist responsible for analyzing fertilizer prices within the main Brazilian regions, analyzing and summarizing the Brazilian market.

Before joining Green Markets, she worked as a market intelligence analyst at the agricultural company, Mosaic Fertlizantes.

She has a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Market Intelligence.


Guillermo Fernandez

Guillermo Fernandez

Senior Pricing Analyst, Green Markets Brasil

Guillermo is originally from Guatemala. He is responsible for price analysis of fertilizer imports in Brazil. Before joining Green Markets, he began his career as a trader at Keytrade, trading in the South American and Caribbean markets. He was also sales director for Uralkali & Uralchem ​​in the Andean and Caribbean Region.

Guillermo earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business with a concentration in International Business in 2014, and his Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics in 2018, both from Louisiana State University.


Jonathan Wentworth-Ping

Jonathan Wentworth-Ping

Director of Sales

Jonathan hails from Sheffield, England and is a Director of Sales for Green Markets.

His professional career started in the hotel business in England, and included stops in Bermuda and New York City with companies such as Sheraton, Omni and Swissôtel. Having left the hotel business, he spent 5 years in publishing with Racquet Magazine, Family Media and Black Book. Another 6 years in IT consulting followed with firms such as Binary Tree, Starpoint Solutions and Ciber before joining Green Markets in 2002.


Lisa Robel

Director of Sales

Prior to joining Green Markets, Lisa worked at PC Connection Inc. for 9 years as an Executive Account Manager in the SMB space with a focus on developing new business and maintaining existing client relationships.

Understanding her customer’s core needs and building long term partnerships that provided value is her sales motto.


Jason Larareo

Production Director

Jason is the Production Director with Green Markets. He is currently responsible for production of all Green Markets products, marketing, and event materials.

Prior to joining Bloomberg’s Green Markets, Jason held positions as Graphic Designer at Kennedy Information. He also was a Graphic Designer at the newspaper in Keene, NH. He received a degree in Art with a focus in Graphic Design from Keene State College.


Heather Lancey

Heather Lancey

Production Manager

Heather is Production Manager with Green Markets and is from New Hampshire. She is currently responsible for production of all Green Markets products and marketing materials.

Prior to joining Bloomberg’s Green Markets,  Heather held positions as Graphic Designer at Kennedy Information and ALM Media. She also was an Operations Coordinator for a small non-profit Entrepreneur business. She received a degree in Art with a focus in Graphic Design from Keene State College.
